Kahnawà:ke Sustainable Energies (KSE) was founded in 2010 as a subsidiary company of the Kahnawà:ke Economic Development Commission (KEDC). Renewable energy is the focus of KSE’s business and our commitment towards balancing the needs of people and the planet.
As KSE’s name implies, sustainability is a primary driving force for the company. For KSE, sustainability involves practices that reflect long-term thinking and informed decision-making.
KSE considers the full life-cycle costs of its energy choices in order to make a net positive contribution to a more sustainable world.
In addition to the commitments outlined in our Sustainable Development Policy, KSE respects the 16 principles of sustainability established by the Ministère du Développement durable, de l’Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques.
